Start the New Year with an Intention Setting Practice!
While many of the New Year resolutions are made with the best of intentions many of them fail because they are coming from a place of lack. That we need to change things (ie.lose weight, earn more money, get that promotion) and that once we have or do those things we will be happy. In many Yogic traditions we engage with intention setting from a different perspective, that being that we are already whole and perfect. Knowing this we can then drop down into our heart and decide what qualities we want to amplify and embody.
This practice begins with a series of meditations. The first is designed to help you connect your heart to the mind, followed by a meditation and optional journaling practice. The first half of the practice will help you get clear on what some of your goals and desires are for the coming year. This will support you in connecting deeply into the longings of your heart so that you can set your intention. For the second half of you'll be guided through a flow practice. This movement practice is intended to help solidify your intention and practice being in action in the way you deeply desire and that honours your great life's purpose.
